Volunteering
As the old saying states: "It takes a nation to raise one child". And even today that still holds a major part in the education for each child. As a parent is active in their childrens life, being able to volunteer is a major milestone for each child when parents participate. This is also helpful when communities are actively involved. Some stats show where research shows children whose parents are involved advance better in grades and do better on test taking as well. They are even stats that show that when parents are involved children have less discipline problems when away from their parents.

Parent Portal
The new Focus Parent Portal is a web-based tool available to all FWISD parents with students enrolled in PK-12. With its easy to use interface, this tool will transform the way you interact with your child’s campus by enhancing two-way communication and involvement. Click below for more details:
Visual Arts
Students can participate in various areas of art and science.
College and Career Readiness Coach
Students can take advantage of consulting with the College and Career Readiness Coach so that they can obtain assistance as they work toward their college and career decisions.
